Why publish an income report?

Alright, guys, I hate being dramatic but IF bloggers income report had never existed on the internet, I probably haven’t ever started this blog.

To me, reading other blogger’s income report is a part of gaining motivation and inspiration. I did that a lot. I did that a lot especially on those days when I researched about starting a blog.

Now, who else loves reading bloggers’ income report? Raise your hand!

So, I became this brave to start my blogging journey after reading income report. And now that I have proven myself that making money online is possible, I want to inspire the world too. I want people to know that today you can make money from home without leaving your kids or household tasks.

Oh, there is another reason for it. I decided to publish my income report and some statistic because I want this to be my goal tracker every month.

In conclusion, I think publishing income report is a good way to motivate myself and other people.

The Income Report

Flexoffers : $4.00

Amazon Affiliates: $15.17

Media.net : $89.63

Total earnings: $108.8

Not bad. But not impressive either.

I am happy that Media.net accepted my new blog and I could start earning some money. However, I have been wanting to be a publisher of Mediavine. I fulfill their requirement to have 25,000 sessions per month so I hope to join this ad network soon.

To my surprise, I made some sales through Amazon Affiliates. Woah! I was so skeptical of my “selling” ability but this earning proved me I could do more than I thought. I hope I could put more hours to work on this so I could earn more next month.

If you’re thinking about starting your own blog

I know how it feels.

I was there, my friend. I was scared and confused and anxious. Is blogging really for me? Is it possible for an introvert to blog? Is it possible for someone who doesn’t have coding skill to build a blog?

But I chose to face the fear.

And I wish I took that decision a long time ago.

Now if you’re thinking about starting your own blog but you don’t know where to start and what to read, take a look at these steps below.

Something important I learned last month

April was a huge month for me. And I learned a big lesson about getting huge traffic.

We all want crazy traffic, don’t we?

Let’s say you want 30,000 pageviews per month. That’s 1,000 pageviews per day.

You got several options.

Option A: Promote 1,000 of your “mediocre” posts and make sure each of them read by 1 person every day.

Option B: Promote 100 of your “mediocre” posts and make sure each of them read by 10 people every day.

Option C: Promote 10 of your best post every day and make sure each of them read by 100 people.

Option D: Promote 1 of your best posts every day and make sure 1,000 people read it.

Let me tell you a secret. Getting 1 person to read 1 of your post is easy. Just create an attractive pin, link it to your relevant post, add effective description, and publish it in a huge group board on Pinterest. Wait for someone to click that link via your pin and there! 1 pageview.

So for example, if you want 1,000 people to come to your blog, repeat the trick 1,000 times A DAY for 1,000 different posts on your blog. [you might need 500 different boards to do that]

Isn’t that exhausting, Malv?

Of course, it is! I’d like to say that’s an insane way. Besides, that’s definitely not the smartest choice. So, I am not recommending you to try the option A. Not the option B either.

It’s way more professional to try the option C and D.

With option C, you need to promote 10 of your best blog posts and make sure each of them read by 100 people per day.

Is that possible? Absolutely.

And you can do that freely using Pinterest.

If you are still considering Pinterest as a social media, think again, buddy. Pinterest is a search engine. It is the beautiful version of Google.

On Pinterest, you can upload your image and share it to your own board or a huge group board with thousands of followers. You can also share other people’s pins too.

Now here are the tricks.

Convert your regular Pinterest account to a business account. That way, you can track your statistic [how many people you reach, how many people engaged to your pins, what are the interests of your followers, et cetera].

By the way, converting your regular Pinterest account into a business account is FREE!

In addition, don’t forget to use the Rich Pin feature where you can add your blog link into a pin so whenever people click the close-up version of your pin, they can be directed straight to your blog post.

But you can’t just pin any image to attract visitors.

Your pin [image] must look amazing.

It should be bright. It should be vertical. It should be eye-catching.

Don’t forget to write compelling titles for your pin.

Hang on, there is one more thing.

The blog posts [content] you promote must be excellent reads. Write something that is motivational or inspirational or problem-solving.

Yeah! Help people to solve their problem. It doesn’t have to be 2,000 words long. You can quickly tell someone interesting ideas in 500 words or so.

By letting people read your high-quality content, you are whispering to their subconscious mind to share the post on Pinterest or Facebook or anywhere. [Therefore, don’t forget to add free social media sharing plugin!]

When someone shares your post, it means you get a help to promote your blog. Imagine if your post is super interesting that every day there are 100 people share it on their social media/Pinterest. Woah! You can easily get huge help for free! And remember, more shares means more chance of attracting visitors. Therefore, a quality content is the key to huge traffic.

In conclusion, the more quality content you have, the easier it gets to reach huge traffic.

Now If you’re Still Worried About Starting Your Own Blog
